Privacy Policy
This policy explains the limited technical, consent, and measurement information associated with this free independent resource site.
Scope and responsible operator
The GPT 6 Fieldguide is an independent, free website maintained by Carl. It has no user accounts, payment processing, advertising network, built-in model inference, user ID system, or claim that it is affiliated with OpenAI. This policy describes the site’s current practices and should be read with the Terms of Use, Disclaimer, and Contact pages.
Delivery and technical information
Cloudflare may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as an IP address, request time, browser and device characteristics, response status, and security or performance logs. The site does not use those delivery logs to build a personal profile. Cloudflare’s own policy and settings govern its processing, retention, and security practices.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics 4 is loaded only after a visitor gives consent through the site’s analytics control. If enabled, the events are page_view, prompt_copy with a stable template ID, and official_outbound. The site does not send prompt content or search input to GA4 and does not create a site user ID. The current property uses measurement ID G-ZSCBSL7WBP; enhanced measurement is off, advertising signals and Google signals are off, and event and user data retention is set to two months with “reset on activity” off. The local browser preference records the analytics choice so the site can honor it; the visitor can change or withdraw that choice through “Privacy settings” in the footer. Rejecting analytics prevents GA4 from loading. Other websites opened from links may set their own cookies or use their own measurement systems.
Google may process and retain data under its own policies. The two-month setting applies to event and user-level data; it does not mean that every aggregate report or historical summary is deleted after two months. No advertising or cross-site signal is intended by this site.
